Creepy Doll Heads

I love dolls, and when I was a kid I played with all sorts of dolls – baby dolls, Barbie dolls, rag dolls – you name it. To me, dolls have their own personalities just like people. I’d line up my baby dolls and stuffed animals around my room and pretend I was their teacher (practicing for my future 😉 ).  The ugly dolls would be mean, my stuffed animals were generally quiet, and the pretty dolls were the best behaved. It’s strange thinking about how I perceived things as young as 7 or 8 years old.

For a long time I collected dolls, but I ended up selling them when I felt I outgrew the ones I had. Now my interest lies not in collecting dolls, but in making and photographing them. Here are some dolls heads I found and photographed. Hope you enjoy my quotes. Can you hear them? 😉
