Simplicity in Nature Photography
This was a bit of a challenge for me, because I’ve either already posted some of my simple photos or I tend not to take very simple ones that relate to this challenge. Although I consider nature to be a complex being, nature photography can make some nice photos. All of these photos were shot in Florida.
I think I like the color version of this egret best as opposed to the black and white version. I think the grey may simplify it but it doesn’t quite give it that push of contrast.
The first photo of the cardinal is the original. The branches make the photo too complex for this challenge, so I cropped it to meet the requirements.

What a great gallery! I love the egret silhouette in color the best, though.

Simplification is the most challenging aspect of photography that I’ve encountered. It’s often easy to include more but at the expense of the image.

Really lovely shots all, but I’m always partial to crows and this shot gives a unique view somehow. Perhaps it is that subtle cracking of the beak that suggests something tiny but savored inside.

I had a similar shot of a cardinal I almost used for this challenge but yours was much better. I liked that one and the egret shot too.
