Timing is key when it comes to photographing sunrises and sunsets. Cloud coverage calls for some interesting patterns when viewing the sun. Too early in the evening or too late in the morning, the sun is too bright. It only takes seconds for the sun to either disappear or reappear, each time showing the world the different colors it can cause. And it seems like the time of sunrise and sunset does not last long enough!
Besides kayaking, swimming, sunbathing, and watching wildlife on the river, photographing amazing sunrises and sunsets is another of my favorite pastimes. Viewing the sun in nature, especially on the water, is not only pleasing to the eye but healing to the soul. Here are a few I took recently in Edgewater, Florida. All of these photos were taken with an iPhone 8.
