Ponce Inlet, Florida Lighthouse, circa 1990

This is one of the only remaining prints left from my high school film days. I recall being a senior and waiting on the full moon to get the best lighting for the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. Without a tripod, I propped my camera on the hood of my car with some books for the long exposure.

You might have noticed that I LOVE taking photos of sunrises and sunsets and things of nature in general. Nature photography helps me to feel more connected to the earth, to zoom in and capture things that I may not be able to see with the naked eye. Its calming effect helps with depression and anxiety, two common things that so many people are dealing with today, and being a silent witness to things in their natural setting is an enjoyable way to learn more about myself.
